Assistant/Associate Professor in the Anatomical Sciences
The Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy at the University of North
Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth invites applications for a full-
time faculty position with a minimum of 2-3 years of teaching
experience in medical human gross anatomy. The successful
applicant(s) must have a Ph.D., D.O., M.D., or equivalent degree and
experience in teaching a clinically-oriented integrated human anatomy
course including human cadaver dissection. Experience with medical
histology, embryology and neuroanatomy is preferred. The anatomical
sciences at UNTHSC are team-taught, and the applicants will be
expected to contribute to both didactic and laboratory instruction in
these disciplines. Other teaching responsibilities will include the
development and delivery of surgical technique/training workshops for
clinicians and residents in the department’s BioSkills laboratory.
Current funding is not a requirement; however, candidates will be
expected to develop a sustainable research/outreach program in
clinical human anatomy, biomedical science/basic science,
anatomical education, and/or science educational programs.

launching a new Department of Cell and Regenerative Biology, via the
integration of faculty from the former departments of Anatomy,
Pharmacology and Physiology. This new department is strengthening
the outstanding research that already exists by the alignment of faculty
who are now dispersed across several departments, by development
of interdisciplinary programs of research, and by the recruitment of new
faculty in nascent or under-represented areas of research. The
Department of Cell and Regenerative Biology will develop leadership
and excellence in multiple research areas, it will work to establish
research themes that span traditional research field boundaries, and
participate in campus programs of interdisciplinary and translational
research.
The UWSMPH invites applications and nominations for the position of
Chair of the Department of Cell and Regenerative Medicine. The
Department has seventeen faculty members. We seek a recognized
leader with an outstanding academic background, including strong
research credentials, demonstrated commitment to education,
experience in mentoring junior faculty, and proven leadership and

Position Announcement - Assoc/Asst Professor at UPenn School of
Dental Medicine
The Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology (ACB) at the University of
Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a
full-time tenure track or tenured faculty position at the Assistant
Professor, Associate Professor or Professor level.
We are seeking faculty with outstanding academic accomplishments in
cellular and/or molecular biology complementing our departmental
research strengths, current NIH grant funding and ability to teach gross
anatomy and/or histology/embryology to first year dental students. The
ACB Department faculty currently investigate basic and translational
approaches to skeletal and smooth muscle physiology,
mechanobiology, extracellular matrix synthesis in fibrosis,
mechanisms of lysosomal signaling and physiology, and craniofacial
development.
Applicants with a PhD or dual degree (DMD-PhD, MD-PhD, DVM-PhD)
